Our Crew

After reading how Natalie Warren and Ann Raiho paddled from Minneapolis to Hudson Bay in 2011, it became Olivia’s dream to paddle there as well. Abby and Olivia met while guiding for Northern Lakes Canoe Base, a Girl Scout Base in Ely, MN. They became close friends after co-guiding for almost 3 weeks together-- where Olivia initially pitched the idea to Abby. The following year, they met Emma while guiding at Northern Tier, also in Ely, Mn. The trio were connected with Helena through the outdoor programs at their schools. Olivia and Abby then pitched the idea to Emma and Helena who, with honestly very little convincing, jumped on board. Follow along to see where our journey leads to next.
